Rivets, threads, drilled holes are just a few places where corrosion attacks first. Metal Jacket LT is designed as a surface modifier that provides improved scratch and wear resistance along with repellant properties. These properties prevent the absorption of moisture, salts and chlorides as well as protect against galvanic corrosion and electrolysis.

In addition to the effective and superior “self-cleaning” properties contained in Metal Jacket, Metal Jacket XL includes a hybrid passivation/coating system specifically designed for substrates with rough profiles (sand blasted) or chemically etched surfaces. This eliminates the masking time and costs.
Can bare aluminum be made more reflective (shiny) and protected against oxidation/corrosion?

How can I protect my gelcoat fiberglass boat for longer than a few months?
Waxes and sealants are known to breakdown due to UV exposure, especially in areas like Florida.  Some solutions are thin coatings that require yearly maintenance programs.  MetalJacket FG’s unique formulation provides up to three years of protection.  By creating hydrophobic and oleophobic properties on the surface, Metal Jacket FG dramatically reduces the effectiveness with which salts, chlorides, oils, greases, scum and microorganisms (algae) attach themselves to the surface.  MetalJacket FG is up to ten times thicker than traditional solutions after just one application maximizing protection.
What preparation is required to apply MetalJacket FG?
All traditional and current protection methods require to have the gelcoat surface to be prepped to a high quality finish before application.  MetalJacket FG, in most cases, only requires a ‘prep wipe down’ with isopropyl alcohol.  For the worst cases, a one step polishing with a rotary buffer and wool pad is needed, followed by prep wipe down.  Whether the boat is twelve years old, two years old or brand new, our product restoration and protection is unmatched for up to three years!

Is there a simple propeller protection system - with low VOCs - that's easy to apply and lasts multiple years?
Applied with a brush, roller or spray, Metal Jacket Prop maximizes cavitation erosion protection in two simple steps. First, apply Prep 100 etching solution to assure adherence on all surface (including high polished stainless and nibrile) and then apply Metal Jacket Prop. With VOC emissions at 100 g/L, this high solid content product is easy to apply and provides years of protection.
Cavitation erosion and barnacles slow and wear down propellers' performance. Can anything be done?
Metal Jacket Prop is designed to greatly resist cavitation using flexural properties to handle these forces even in very low temperatures.  Its clear, high solid and low VOC system provides anti-corrosive / chemical resistant properties as well as hydrophobic properties, which provide foul releasing and anti-icing functions.

Is there a product that protects marine wood from rot or drying out prematurely?
Similar hydrophobic and oleophobic properties have been designed in Metal Jacket W to cover untreated wood surfaces, enabling the wood surface to repel water, oils, greases and even dirt for up to three years. In addition, the new surface minimizes the weathering affect of the wood while allowing the natural discoloration from UV light to occur.
